Dunning Explorers Information



My name is Kelvin Hernandez, and I am the Out of School Time Coordinator at the Dunning School. I have been working at Dunning since 2014. I will do my best to continue to support and guide our Dunning students, families, and Explorers Team. I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved over to the United States when I was 4 years old. Most of my childhood was spent in Newport, RI, and received my Bachelors from the University of Rhode Island. Having a degree is in Kinesiology (Physical Education) and growing up playing many sports, I am passionate about learning through movement. When I’m not at Dunning, I am a full-time father and husband (#girldad).
